SUNDAY at Lake Shirakaba – Chikakuno Tabi no Messe (Chikakko Travel Fair)” is an event that “you can go there as soon as you feel like it. You will fall in love with your hometown even more. The theme of this local event is “You will fall in love with your hometown even more.

The first event was held at Lake Tateshina in 2022, and the second will be held at Lake Shirakaba this year.

At the venue, visitors can enjoy canoeing, horse-drawn carts, and other activities on Lake Shirakaba, as well as a local brass band, local gourmet foods, and workshops.

About 40 stores will be open for visitors to enjoy all day long, from morning to evening.

There will also be a raffle for all visitors. Tourist associations and local businesses will also participate.

You can also land on “Nakanoshima Island” floating in the middle of the lake. Please enjoy the fantastic experience on the lake.

After the event, there will be a fireworks display.
