Originally a skier, I currently serve as the chairman of the Chino City Ski Association. When we established this pension, we took great care in its design—installing additional windows to welcome sunlight, creating high ceilings, and even integrating stained glass.
Situated slightly higher in the mountains than Lake Shirakaba, the area around Sunshine Lodge provides a vantage point to oversee the lake. I appreciate how you can genuinely sense the transitions of each season, witnessing vibrant foliage and the presence of wildlife.
My favorite season? Well, I love them all. Well, perhaps not so much during the rainy season (laughs), but spending time here makes each season uniquely charming.
