The previous owner fell in love with this place, fueled by a passion for American Western culture, and began keeping horses. This place has been a part of my life since I was born. It was the dream pursued by the owner who traveled the world, and as people gathered around him, thousands became involved. They even ventured into filmmaking, and everyone contributed to building everything from the ground up.

From there, the legacy of "creating" has been passed down. We built our own home and a horse stable, continuously renovating structures from the past. My husband likens it to building plastic models (laughs). People across Japan have found independence from this place. We would like for them to know that we are doing well.

Lake Shirakaba offers a leisurely pace, especially throughout the four seasons, each with its unique natural expressions. Having a waterfront and fishing adds to the charm, providing an atmosphere impossible to experience in the city. Mr. Kawamura's favorite season is just before the rainy season, when the fresh greenery is at its most beautiful. Mrs. Kawamura loves the autumn leaves. It is also the time when the air is at its best.

Families and those who come for horse training are our most frequent visitors. While most riding clubs are British-themed, we offer Western-style riding with Quarter Horses. With not much to do in town, people come here to enjoy this aspect. Beginners are more than welcome. Our staff will assess levels and ensure a perfect match, so feel free to join us.
